    • no final decision yet
    • support for SeqDB linked to MoU signature
  5. Review of DINA ISC decisions
    • none
  6. Report from DINA TC
    • weekly meetings for data model
    • continue work on guidelines
    • multimedia API
    • MVP first release of AAFC prior to the revisions of the guidelines
    • a metalevel of a documentation is still needed
  7. Signing of the new DINA MoU
    • no new signature of the MoU yet, but in progress
  8. Non-profit DINA organization and Development contracts
    • shell DINA establish a formal non-profit organization?
    • lots of bureaucracy needed
    • Falko suggests that funding for DINA could be managed by one institution in order to distribute to other partners based on individual contracts. All in all, this might be less bureaucracy.
    • Falko will provide more details for this concept
  9. Operation and maintenance contracts
    • legacy SeqDB => might cause license issues
      • user interface prototype => is slowed down
      • focussing on new SeqDB
      • possible solution: contract of 5 years with transition to new SeqDB?
      • this discussion needs to be continued
  10. DINA face to face meeting report
    • good meeting, diverse topics, high motivation, first attempts to sync roadmaps of AAFC with MfN
    • minutes are available on demand in a Google Document
    • Github.io page needs to be updated
  11. SPNCH and TDWG meetings
    • DINA synposium not on the virtual programme anymore
    • TDWG conference devided into two parts
      • Interest and Task Group meetings in September
      • Biodiversity Informatics conference in October
        • symposia driven
      • Topic on collection management systems could be included with a focus on more technical audience
        • short presentations
        • discussions on new global vision on infrastructure related to CMS
        • similar functions, services and vocabulary
          • all agreed to prefer TDWG conference over something separate for DINA

      • changes in Specify data model to solve issues at RBGE
      • CMSs are designed for managing the data once everything is in, but not for migration across systems

      • recruitment proceeds
